A Greenwich Village townhouse to accommodate a growing bi-coastal family…

This project was very interesting because this townhouse was a temporary rental while my clients were renovating another townhome to be a permanent NYC address. Since it was a rental, we were limited to what we were able to do. Coming from a large loft in Soho but not large enough to accommodate their growing family, this was a good solution. It turned out that most of the furniture from the loft was way too large to fit in the confines of townhouse living, so we actually decided to work with a long term furniture rental company. Now to keep it somewhat feeling like they were still surrounded by their belongings, we mixed many of their useable pieces from Soho and mixed in with the rental furniture, as well as their extensive art collection to really bring it all together. I think it came out beautifully, and the client was very pleased.
